Dr. Fred Kofman is the founder and Academic President of Axialent, an international consulting firm specializing in organizational learning and personal mastery.
Dr Kofman is an original thinker who awakens people to act with greater responsibility, integrity and courage; his ideas combine philosophical depth with practical applicability. He has developed and taught programs in leadership, personal mastery, team learning, organizational effectiveness, coaching for managers and coaching for professional coaches for more than 10,000 managers at numerous blue-chip companies.
After being adjunct Professor of Economic Growth at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina he gained his PhD in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley in 1990. He was Assistant Professor of Management Accounting and Information Systems at the Sloan School of Management at MIT and Senior Researcher at Peter Senge’s Organizational Learning Centre.
His 1990 doctoral dissertation ‘Optimal Collusion-Proof Contracts’ was selected by the Review of Economic Studies as one of the most important new advances in economic theory, and his book ‘Metamanagement’ has gained wide acclaim in the U.S., Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.
Since 1996, Dr. Kofman has conducted research on integral leadership at the Integral Institute as a senior member of the Business Core Team led by authorand philosopher Ken Wilber.
