Hyperloop Transportation Technologies has just signed an agreement with the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology and Hanyang University that encompasses research, testing, licensing and development.
The South Korean government hopes to build a hyperloop that will reduce travel time of the 200 mile trip from Seoul to Busan to just 30 minutes. Further details of the deal are yet to be divulged but the government is hoping to have the vacuum tube transportation working in about 4 years.
