Fredrik Haren’s new book “One World. One Company” is just out. Fredrik argues for why—and how—companies need to become global in the way they conduct business. Watch a 20 minute speech on the subject of the book in the video below.
Find out how some of the most successful companies, big and small, have been able to make this transition; what other companies can learn from them; the challenges you will face when going global; and what can go wrong for those who choose to not go global.
For his research, Fredrik Haren travelled to more than 20 countries, conducting interviews with professionals working for successful organizations such as Mindshare, Volvo, IKEA, Rovio, Siemens, Jotun, Manpower, Ericsson, Maersk and many, many more.
Fredrik Haren has written 7 books, including The Idea Book, an international best selling management book on business creativity that has been translated into 14 languages and which was recently included in “The 100 Best Business Books of All Time”. He has been invited to give keynote speeches at more than 1000 conferences and events in 30 countries. In 2007 he was awarded “Speaker of The Year” in Sweden. He now lives in Singapore.
