Former Manchester United star Gary Neville has turned himself into a hotel developer in the past few years. In the midst of the coronavirus outbreak, he opens his hotels free of charge to health workers to help with the current crisis. A great role model for us to learn from!
“It is something we are delighted to have been able to come to an agreement with,” Neville said.
“It is at this moment in time that the whole of our industry needs to show solidarity, not just for our staff in these uncertain times, but for the people who need the accommodation most in the coming months,” Neville said.

Gary Neville is a former Manchester United and England footballer who has recently become one of the most incisive TV football pundits. He has spent his entire playing career at Old Trafford, making him a rare one-club man, and is England’s most-capped right-back in history. He was one of ‘Fergie’s Fledglings’ – with brother Phil, Ryan Giggs, David Beckham, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt – who all made an impact in a youthful United team.
Since retiring from football at the end of the 2010-11 season, he has gone into punditry and is a commentator for Sky Sports. In 2009, he was awarded an honorary degree from the University of Bolton for his outstanding contributions to football.
In 2010 it was reported that Neville has applied for planning permission to build an eco-friendly home, which would be the first zero-carbon house in northwest England. His testimonial game was reported to be the most eco-friendly game in English football history. He made his international debut in 1995 and was first-choice right-back for club and country for more than ten years. At the time of his retirement Gary was United’s second longest serving player in the squad.
What really makes him a breath of fresh air is his availability to provide expert insight into what a player might be thinking. He uses his expertise and insight to motivate, stimulate and inspire his audiences.
