In an interview with the Brisbane Times, Li Cunxin shared his insights on resilience and more
Who were your heroes of 2021?
My heroes are still the frontline workers, the nurses, doctors, paramedics and police officers who rose to the challenge during the pandemic. I have such a respect and appreciation for the people working in the health system, they have been absolutely fantastic through such a challenging time. How did you stay resilient this year?
I stay resilient during times of change by keeping a positive mindset, and to look for the opportunities in disguise. Even through the challenges and uncertainty, which we have all experienced over the last two years, I have tried to keep my head down and chip away. What was the biggest change you experienced in 2021?
The biggest change I experienced this year was the sense of hope and optimism emerging in overcoming the continued uncertainties caused by COVID. I feel people are looking forward to a somewhat normal year next year, and certainly here at Queensland Ballet we have been heart-warmed by the unwavering support we have received this year from our patrons, supporters and audiences. What do you think 2022 will bring, what are your predictions for next year?
I think 2022 will be a better, brighter and more certain year. I think we can make it our best year yet.
