Lisa Oake is a former co-host of CNBC Asia’s top-rated morning program Squawk Box and one of Asia-Pacific’s most experienced media trainers. She has conducted thousands of interviews with entrepreneurs, business leaders, central bankers and heads of state both on live television and at conferences around the world.
As the founder of Oake Media, Lisa helps clients tell their stories effectively and with authenticity. She encourages them to move away from the safety of the corporate brochure and instead, talk about why they are passionate about their role and how their brand contributes to the greater good.
Among her clients are executives from Microsoft, Citibank, DBS, S&P Global, AIA, Procter & Gamble, Singapore Exchange, BNP Paribas, Franklin Templeton, The Wall Street Journal and many others.
Lisa holds a Master of Arts (Journalism) degree from Canada’s Western University, a Master of Counselling degree from Australia’s Monash University and has completed Harvard Kennedy School’s Leadership in Crises (Executive Education) program. She is certified by the International Coaching Federation as an associate coach and is a certified practitioner of the 360° assessment tool, Leadership Circle Profile.
Lisa is originally from Canada and has lived in Singapore for more than 25 years.
