Increased digitization of existing technology and the synergies they create has lead to rapid increase in the speed that disruptive ideas can fundamentally change markets, while at the same time decrease the hurdle of entry. A small startup can quickly disrupt established industries like hotels and transportation. The talk highlights the gap between linear thinking and strategy as well as issues we face with fast growing technologies. It establishes a framework with the key attributes that organisations fit for the future will have and share strategies that attendees can incorporate and apply to become exponential themselves.
