Roy Sheppard – Online Producer, Presenter & Interviewer

Roy Sheppard

Roy Sheppard explains how online conferences and events can benefit from professional hosts like him, who produce, present, conduct live interviews, play-in pre-recorded video inserts and vision-mix the entire show through a ‘virtual’ camera.

For 10 years Roy was a live reporter and presenter for BBC Television. He was particularly renowned for his ability to think on his feet and handle on-air crises with calmness, warmth and good-humour. For the past 35 years he has consulted with clients and entrusted to MC and facilitate multi-million Euro large-scale international congresses that are often hugely complex as well as politically and culturally sensitive. His unique editorial and technical skillset, and decades of ‘live’ experience allows him to self-produce whilst on-air/on-stage. Most of his past clients book him repeatedly year after year. His many high-level conferences for the International Olympic Committee (IOC), included facilitating the official de-brief for the Beijing Olympic Games (in Beijing) and the London Olympics (in Lausanne).
