This highly interactive presentation discusses key principles of savvy delving into the unspoken areas of organizational life – the participants learn the value and impact of power, language and networks.

Yet the keys to success means operating across complex networks, understanding interconnections and engaging in the political side of organizational life. Without an understanding of the positive side of politics, managers may be overlooked, under-valued and risk being forgotten. In today’s turbulent business environment, managers, need to embrace in the whole organization – the political arena – keeping values and integrity intact.

Ms. Jane Horan is the founder of the Horan Group, a strategic consultancy focusing on the acceleration of women leaders, innovation and cross-cultural leadership. Previously she was Asia- Pacific Director of Management & Organizational Development for Kraft Foods, responsible for leading the formulation and implementation of Kraft’s employee development, talent management and innovation workshops.

Prior to Kraft, Jane was the Executive Director of Organizational Development for The Walt Disney Company (Asia Pacific) based in Hong Kong. Whilst at Disney she led all Talent Management, Leadership Development, and Organization and Culture Change initiatives in Asia Pacific. During her tenure with Disney, Jane designed and implemented business driven action learning programs for high potential talents, driving innovation and entrepreneurship across business segments.
