A prolific content creator, producer, and international journalist, Chloe Cho leads Brilliant Media & Productions in Singapore & Seoul. Previously, she worked for international TV networks such as CNBC, CNA, and CNN International as executive producer, news anchor, editor, correspondent, and contributor.
Chloe’s four-part TV series titled Metaverse Nation, produced under Brilliant Media & Productions, picked up two awards at Asia’s biggest TV showcase, Asian Television Awards, in two categories – Best Infotainment and Best Extended Reality TV Series in January 2024. The series has also been nominated at the Banff International Media Festival in Short-Form Non-Fiction, and is under main competition in Current Affairs at the International Emmy Awards. Earlier, she was selected as a finalist in the TV Personality category for AIBs (Association for International Broadcasting) Awards in London in 2016 and 2015, awarded ‘Journalist of the Year’ by her alma mater, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul. Chloe was chosen among 50 Most Influential Koreans recognized for their work in international media, culture, and arts by Newsweek Korea in 2009. Prior to that, she was a finalist for ‘Best Business Report’ at CNN World Report Contributors’ Awards in Atlanta, Georgia in 2003.
Chloe has hosted, created, and produced hit weekly talk shows in Asia Pacific, including “Millionaire Minds,” “Investor Insights,” and business reality show “Start-up Asia” via Singapore-headquartered Channel NewsAsia, while serving as Executive Producer/Presenter & Assistant Vice President from mid-2014 to mid-2018. Prior, she was anchor/correspondent of CNBC Asia, helming global business shows such as Capital Connection and Asia Market Week in Singapore. She’s traveled extensively to cover major international events from the North Korean nuclear crisisto the global financial meltdown… and scored exclusive interviews with top newsmakers such as European Central Bank chief & former IMF head Christine Lagarde, former U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat, as well as Nobel laureates and business magnates.
She’s chaired panels for international conferences including the IMF, WEF, ADB, and ASEAN… while also having been interviewed as a media personality in both the South Korean and Singapore media as well as for France’s Le Monde. She’s also mentioned as both a fictional and non-fictional media personality in two books written by British author Alain de Botton. She is bilingual in English and Korean, and speaks fluent French.
