In the history of Formula 1, only one woman has ever been granted a Super Licence to direct a Formula 1 Grand Prix by the FIA (the F1 governing body). Claire Dubbelman is that woman. Former FIA Formula 1 Deputy Race Director and a leading figure in motorsport governance, Claire operates at the very centre of one of the most high-pressure environments in global sport.
With nearly two decades of experience across international motorsport, Claire has built a career defined by precision, resilience and a clear belief that barriers are there to be broken. From shaping regulatory frameworks for junior championships worldwide to supporting race direction at Formula 1 Grands Prix, she has worked across five continents with teams, promoters and governing bodies at the highest level.
Now based in Saudi Arabia, Claire is focused on developing the future of motorsport in emerging markets, working on governance, talent development and long-term infrastructure to support the sport’s growth.
