A serial entrepreneur, Mukul Deva has founded and professionalised three companies across three countries. His Singapore-based firm, Influence Solutions, delivers customised learning and organisational development programmes and has worked with organisations in 29 countries. His work has taken him to conferences and leadership forums for clients including HP, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Unilever, KPMG, Boston Consulting Group and the United Nations HULT Prize ceremony, among many others across Asia and beyond.
Deva is also a widely published author, with 21 books spanning five genres. His business titles include S.T.R.I.P.T.E.A.S.E. – The Art of Corporate Warfare, M.O.D.E.L. – The Return of the Employee, Make Success A Habit, and his most recent work, The F.I.R.S.T. Leader. He is also known for pioneering the Indian military action thriller genre, with novels including Lashkar, Salim Must Die and Blowback, several of which are in development for film and television adaptation.
Alongside his business and writing career, Deva is a global keynote speaker, executive coach, mentor and facilitator whose work spans leadership, strategic thinking, change and team performance. A Belbin-accredited practitioner and F.I.R.S.T. Master Facilitator, he has coached and mentored over 10,000 C-suite leaders, government officials and managers across industries and cultures. He serves as an Associate Executive Coach with the Singapore Civil Service College and as a Mentor with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), where he has helped build institutional capacity within Afghanistan’s civil service.
An alumnus of La Martiniere College, Lucknow, the National Defence Academy, and the Indian Military Academy, Deva draws on more than three decades of combined military and business experience. He is a certified coach through the Henley Business School, University of Reading, UK.
