$uperHubs: How the Financial Elite and their Networks Rule our World
Financial markets: Macro-economic and Geopolitical Mega-trend Analysis
Navidi’s academic background, combined with her on-the-ground experience in international law, finance and macroeconomics, provides her with a meta-level perspective of the financial industry, the economy and politics, which together allow her to identify patterns and uncover otherwise inconspicuous connections. Being an independent “insider-outsider”, unconstrained by cognitive biases, she then casts her insights into a wider context, connects the dots and covers any blind spots. Her analysis is based on information gathered from a variety of sources, including her global network of experts, and on a holistic systems-thinking, non-technical methodology. (e.g. economic outlook: global/US/EU/EMs; financial industry; U.S. presidency, Brexit, Future of the Euro and Europe, Germany)

Networking & Career Advice
Presiding over a portfolio of valuable relationships is the ultimate competitive advantage in our hyper-connected era. As stated in Navidi’s highly acclaimed, bestselling book $uperHubs: How the Financial Elite and Their Networks Rule Our World, “Attraction + Interaction = Transaction: Relational capital creates “network capital”, which maximizes the “return on relationships.”
Drawing on her own extensive global network, Navidi maps out how clients can attain a central superhub network position by originating, developing, and managing strategic, value-added relationships to advance their business interests and attain sustainable, measurable results. In addition, since networks need platforms to be able to form, expand, and thrive, she outlines strategies on how enterprises can establish superhub networking platforms.
As a financial markets expert, Sandra Navidi is predestined to explain complex economic and financial issues as she has successfully demonstrated for years as an expert on n-tv.

In $uperHubs, Ms. Navidi skillfully applies network science to the global financial system and the human networks that underpin it. $uperHubs is a topical and relevant book that should be read by anyone seeking a fresh perspective on the human endeavor that is our financial system.
~ PROFESSOR LAWRENCE H. SUMMERS, Harvard; former US Secretary of the Treasury, former Director of the US National Economic Council
$uperHubs is beautifully and effectively done. Not only is it a fascinating description of the power wielded by elite networks over the financial sector, it is also a meditation on the consequences of this system for the economy and society…Ms. Navidi proposes that this ruling system’s “monoculture,” its isolation from the rest of society, and its seeming unawareness of the fragility of what it has built are largely responsible for these ruptures, and that the system may lead to a major crisis in the future.
~ PROFESSOR EDMUND S. PHELPS, Columbia University, 2006 Nobel Prize in Economics; Director, Center on Capitalism and Society
“How are we governed? By whom and how? These are the classic questions to which globalization and the financial markets have given a new urgency. $uperhubs provides a front row seat in the theater of fundamental change.”
~ OLAFUR RAGNAR GRIMSSON, President of Iceland
“An intimate glimpse into the obscure world of high finance. It should be voraciously consumed by anyone in business.”
