While running successful businesses in Asia and managing an entertaining career in media, Todd has cycled across two continents and explored over 100 countries on all seven continents.

Todd Miller is Chief Executive Officer at Celestial Tiger Entertainment (CTE), one of Asia’s largest vertically integrated independent entertainment companies. He is responsible for driving the company’s core businesses of branded pay television channels, content creation and content distribution across Asia and beyond. Celestial Tiger operates a portfolio of Asian entertainment channels, including the Celestial Movies, Celestial Classic Movies, KIX, Thrill and cHK. Headquartered in Hong Kong, CTE’s majority shareholders include a Hollywood studio; one of the world’s most active Private Equity firms in media/telecoms; and Southeast Asia’s largest pay television provider.
Prior to Celestial Tiger Entertainment, Miller led a number of television businesses in Asia for Sony Pictures during a 17-year career with the company. He oversaw Sony’s 25+ television networks and channel investments in Asia/Pacific. Before that he led the company’s Asian content distribution business, including pioneering work in digital distribution; and oversaw Sony’s Asian TV production activities, including the first-ever Sino-American TV production joint venture.
Adventure Credentials
In TransAmerica 2010, Miller cycled 6,000km coast-to-coast across North America, navigating some of the continent’s biggest mountain ranges, thousands of kilometers of corn fields, and challenging weather systems during a two-month sabbatical while an executive at Sony Pictures. The expedition spanned 10 US states and one Canadian province in 50 days.
In TransEuropa 2011, Miller pedalled across Europe, commencing in Lisbon and concluding in Istanbul 82 days, 5,850km and 16 countries later. He encountered some kind of obstacle on nearly every expedition day. Miller negotiated the Pyrenees, the Alps and the Balkans; followed the coasts of one ocean and three seas; and faced all kinds of physical and mental challenges on this solo self-supported expedition.
Miller has raised over HK$400,000 through his cycling expeditions to support two Asian children’s charities: the Cambodian charity, A New Day and Yaowawit, the Thai charity created in the aftermath of the 2004 tsunami.
Miller donates all the net proceeds from his speaking engagements to Asian children’s charities.
